Anti-wrinkle treatment – Reverse the signs of ageing without surgery

Anti-wrinkle facial injections are derived from natural biological sources. They relax muscles temporarily, smoothing movement lines and reducing the depth of any wrinkles that are targeted. They are mainly used for the forehead, frown, crow’s feet and face slimming.
Anti-wrinkle injections are the most common anti ageing cosmet-ic procedures these days, as they can minimise the signs of age-ing while maintaining a softer and youthful complexion.
Anti-wrinkle injections work by blocking the nerve impulses, which leads to relaxed muscle activity. This blocks the signal from the brain telling that muscle to contract.

How long does it last?

It is important to know that this facial treatment does not work immediately. It is not until around 10 days after the treatment you will see maximum results, although you will start to see the first effects around 2 days after and will see lasting results between 4-6 months depending on how strong the muscle is that has been treated. Periodic follow up treatments are recommended to help maintain the effects for a longer period of time.
We also offer dermal fillers which usually compliment Anti-wrinkle injections.

When you visit our CDC clinic in Armadale you will be in the hands of a qualified medical or nurse practitioner with a thorough understanding of the facial anatomy. Frown and smile lines are often greatly improved with muscle relaxing injections (BT). We can discuss the specific names with you if you ring us on 1300 667 039 or contact us. Muscle relaxing injections are very effective and popular, used by most celebrities and movies stars. These injections generally last 3-4 months and slowly wear off. Prior to injecting, a numbing cream or ice is applied to the skin, to minimise discomfort. The effects of muscle relaxing injections are seen within 7-10 days. Occasionally there is some temporary swelling and bruising. The injections are safe and have very few side effects.

After injection of fillers, it is possible to have some swelling and bruising, which may last a few days. It is particularly common around the eye area. If you use ice immediately after the filler, it may reduce bruising and swelling.
