1. Creams
Vitamin A creams eg Retinol can improve sun damage and mild wrinkling. They

treatments. Vitamin A creams can be combined with Vitamin C creams and glycolic
acid.
2. Injections to relax facial muscles

4. Fractionated lasers eg Fraxel
Fractionated lasers eg Fraxel can improve some wrinkles, but generally less

carbon dioxide lasers produce better improvement in wrinkles, but need at least
2-3 treatment sessions.
5. Plasma Portrait PSR
This is a newer non laser heat source which can improve wrinkles by more than
50% in one treatment session. It is especially good for wrinkles around the
eyes.
6. Laser Resurfacing
Note: the treatment is the only change that has occurred between these images.
This is the gold standard for skin rejuvenation, and can produce dramatic
reduction of wrinkles in one treatment session. It is particularly good for
wrinkles around the mouth and is long lasting. Healing time is long and redness
can last for months.
7. Chemical Peeling
Chemical peeling can be useful for wrinkles depending on the strength of the
peel. They range from superficial (glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid),
medium (trichloroacetic acid) and deep (phenol). Chemical peels may be combined
with other treatments.
