Aging Skin
There are several procedures available for treating aging skin.
Fractionated CO2 Laser
More information on fractionated CO2 Laser ...
CDC Clinics have introduced the latest treatment for Skin rejuvenation with the FRACO2 (Fractionated CO2 Laser).
The gold standard in facial rejuvenation has been the older CO2 lasers which produced dramatic improvement in wrinkles and sun damage often making people look 10 or more years younger. However, the healing times are long and there were risks and complications associated with these lasers.
The newer fractionated CO2 lasers are less invasive, heal quicker, and have lower risks. The results are almost as good as the older CO2 lasers, with significant improvement in wrinkles, sun damage and acne scarring.
How does FRACO2 work?
Note: the treatment is the only change that has occurred between these images.
Fraco2 works by producing columns of laser beams which precisely penetrate to the level of wrinkles or scars, and stimulate your own skin to replace the old collagen with new “baby” collagen. In between the laser beams, the skin remains intact, allowing healing to occur quickly. Who is suitable for Fraco2?
- Moderate to severe facial wrinkles
- Moderate wrinkles neck, hands
- Sun damage and brown spots
- Acne and other Scarring

FRAXEL Laser Treatment produces thousands of tiny but deep columns of treatment in your skin, known as microthermal treatment zones. This treatment eliminates old epidermal pigmented cells. It also peneterates deeply into the dermis. For every microthermal zone the laser targets and treats intensively, it leaves the surrounding tissue unaffected and intact. This "fractional" treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area were treated at once, using the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue to replace imperfections related to aging skin.
Fillers and Frown Relaxant

A lifetime of unprotected exposure to the sun’s rays damages the skin giving it a blotchy, wrinkled, aged appearance.
Each year billions of dollars are spent on cosmetic products in an attempt to achieve fresh, youthful looking skin. Despite advertising claims, lotions and skin care products can not repair sun damaged skin.
To improve smoothness and texture, the skin must be resurfaced.
Resurfacing removes old, damaged skin allowing new skin to take its place. Freckles, brown spots, fine wrinkles and acne scars can be removed using this technique.
